Printer supports direct text printing with the 'us-ascii' charset.
Comments
For basic printing functionality use the Postscript PPD. For advanced functionality such
as printer status and maintenance features, use the
HPLIP driver (which includes HPIJS).
PostScript level 3, PCL 5e, and PCL 6 out of the box, parallel and
USB connection, "n" models with ethernet connection, 250-sheet
tray built-in, extra 250- or 500-sheet tray available (included in
"t" models), duplex unit in "d" models.
The "L" model is software-compatible to the other models, it is
only somewhat slower (20 ppm instead of 25 ppm).
