Printer supports direct text printing with the 'us-ascii' charset.
Comments
Works with stcolor driver using the -dSoftweave parameter. Also
works with uniprint driver and stc500p.upp and stc500ph.upp parameter
files, but printing at 720 dpi is VERY slow this way. Implements a
subset of ESC/P2 language. Third-party ink cartridges and refill kits
available.
As of July 2000, the best results are from the stp driver.
