Prints Perfectly, just no scanning support.
Use GS 5.50. Slow under StarOffice 5.1. Works fine under WordPerfect 8 for Linux.
Brother publishes proprietary Linux drivers for CUPS and LPD for most of their laser printers and multi-function devices, including SANE drivers for the scanners. They can be downloaded free of charge on their Linux driver page.
Consumables/Refills: Toner can be replaced w/o replacing the drum
