sec until the first page comes out, 2 x 250 sheet, max. page
size is Legal, built-in duplex unit. network card (included in
"N" model), additional paper trays, envelope feeder
available as options. 2 MB standard, expandable to 50 MB with
4MB or 16MB 60/70ns EDO or FastPage SIMMs.
Understands PostScript, PCL 5e, and PJL, so there is no problem
to use it under free operating systems. one can use also use PJL
utilities (as PUP) to
change default settings. There is also the proprietary printing
software "CentreWare" (for LPD or LPRng systems, see
section for downloadable software, platform "UNIX" on
the printer's web page).
