For basic printing functionality use the HPIJS driver . For advanced functionality such as printer status and maintenance features, use the HPLIP driver (which includes HPIJS).

Works out of the box with various PCL3 drivers.
Under Linux this printer does up to 600x600dpi in colour with CRET. To obtain this use the Gimp-Print driver (4.1.99) in 600x600 dpi, or the cdj880 or cdj970 drivers with RET turned on and presentation quality.
Consumables/Refills: One cartridge for black, another for CMY
