Printer supports direct text printing with the 'us-ascii' charset.

The uniprint driver for the BJC-6000 works for the BJC-3000 too. It has a higher resolution than the bjc600.
Tested successful the USB device with Linux kernel 2.3.99pre5
Scanning cartridge not supported.
