Compatible to the Canon BJC-4300. I (Till) got rather good results with Gimp-Print 4.1.x (July 2001)

User reports:

Without Ghostscript options the page was not filled, but the reoolution change to 360 ensured the page was correctly filled.

I have marked this as mostly working as I am unhappy with the colour images (they are a bit blurred). As this is the first *nix colour printer I have used/set-up I cannot really coment on whether I am getting acceptable results or not.

Finally, I am using the usb interface and have not touched the parallel connector :-) I am using Corel Linux Second Edition for reference.

The german computer magazine c't - Magazin fuer Computertechnik (21/2000) recommends for the Canon BJC 2100:

Stp gets rated 'very poor' for photo quality but is still the best choice for this printer: "The stp driver gave the least catastrophical result."
