8MB memory std; note that this isn't enough for 1200dpi.
Fujitsu SPARClite based.
Network option available, USB, Parellel, Serial std.
Also speaks PCL 6, HPGL, Epson.
Duplex option available.

Brother publishes proprietary Linux drivers for CUPS and LPD for most of their laser printers and multi-function devices, including SANE drivers for the scanners. They can be downloaded free of charge on their Linux driver page.
